The initial piercing didn't hurt (I didn't even hear that "popping" sound.) But the healing progess was a long and arduous task. It still gets irritated when I sleep on it wrong, but with that said, I love it to death, and would never ever even consider taking it out :-)

I may get an industrial someday, but first I am leaning towards a conch piercing, if I can convince the parentals (for my 16th birthday :-)) Does the placement look like it would allow for an industrial? i've seen some industrials that look either too high or too low (if that makes sense?)
